Questions parents ask.
Is Our ABC Academy affiliated to CBSE?
Yes. The school holds CBSE affiliation number 230097 (school number 35181), a Senior Secondary extension of general affiliation valid from 1 April 2025 to 31 March 2030. The affiliation letter and all mandatory documents can be viewed on the Mandatory Disclosure page.
Which classes do you offer?
Nursery through Class XII. Classes XI and XII offer Science (with Mathematics or Biology) and Commerce (with or without Mathematics) and Arts (Humanities).
What are the school timings?
Nursery to SKG: 8:30 am – 11:40 am. Class I: 8:30 am – 1:00 pm. Classes II to XII: 9:00 am – 2:00 pm. The school is closed for students on every second Saturday.
What is the medium of instruction?
English. Assamese, Hindi and Sanskrit are taught as languages depending on the stage.
Do you have boarding?
Yes — separate hostels for boys and girls, with supervised evening study, hygienic dining and round-the-clock pastoral care. Hostel places are allocated separately from day-school admission.
What are the fees?
The fee structure for 2026–27, approved under the Assam Non-Government Educational Institutions (Regulation of Fees) Rules, can be viewed on the Mandatory Disclosure page. The office will happily explain it — call or WhatsApp +91 60338 60003.
Is there an entrance test?
There is no competitive entrance examination. From Class I upward there is a short, grade-appropriate interaction in English and Mathematics, used to place your child.
Which documents are needed?
The birth certificate, the previous report card (Class I onwards), the transfer certificate (where applicable) and two passport-size photographs.
Is transport available?
Yes. School buses are GPS-enabled. Ask the office about routes.
How do parents see attendance, marks and fee records?
Through the school ERP portal, linked at the top of every page of this website.
